.DISCUSSION...
Showers and isolated thunderstorms have lingered across our SE
Oklahoma and adjacent SW Arkansas districts all day. Eventually,
showers and thunderstorms will push southward into a large portion
of East Texas and NW Louisiana overnight into early Friday
morning, with chance POPS over the remainder of the districts on
Friday. Mixing heights could approach 3000 ft at most locations on
Friday, but with rain across the area, min RH values will be above
60 percent. We should see dry conditions return on Saturday in
wake of a cold front, with min RH values dropping to between 45 to
55 percent. Mixing heights should climb above 3000 ft.
Rain chances will return areawide with a cold front by Sunday
night and last through Monday, with locally heavy rainfall
possible. Dry and cooler conditions will return by Wednesday and
Thanksgiving in wake of the cold front. /20/
