.DISCUSSION...
Southerly winds will continue for the region today ahead of a
surface front, occasionally gusting above 20 kts in areas of Deep
East Texas this afternoon. Showers and storms will mostly impact
our far northwest fire zones, but the entire region will see persistant
low clouds at least through the weekend. Areas outside the rainy
fire zones will see afternoon mixing heights above 4000 ft and
RH`s in the mid to upper 40s. The area of rain is expected to move
southeastward and cover the entire region by tomorrow morning.
