.DISCUSSION...
Hot and humid conditions are expected for most of this week.
Daytime high temperatures will continue to be well into the 90s to
near 100 degrees with heat index values climbing over 105 degrees
in most locations. Scattered thunderstorms will be possible again
this afternoon across much of East Texas and Louisiana, but the
highest rain chances will be in the Sam Rayburn and Toledo Bend
areas of Deep East Texas and Western Louisiana. Afternoon minimum
relative humidity values should be well above 45 percent today in
most locations, but will generally range between 40 and 55 percent
Tuesday through Thursday.
