.DISCUSSION...
Warm and dry conditions will continue throughout the remainder of
this week across our area fire districts. By the end of this week
and especially by Saturday into Saturday night, rain chances will
be increasing as a major storm system is expected to bring a cold
front into the region accompanied by scattered to numerous showers
and thunderstorms. Until then, minimum relative humidity values
will continue in the 30 to 40 percent range, as well as afternoon
mixing height values between 5000 and 7000 ft. East to northeast
winds will continue, becoming near calm overnight and increase to
maximum sustained speeds around 5 mph each day through Friday.
