.DISCUSSION...
Very hot and mostly dry conditions will continue areawide Wednesday and
Thursday, with temperatures again climbing into the upper 90s to in
excess of 100 degrees both days. Min RH`s will generally range from
40-50% both days, with south-southwest 20ft winds of 5-10 mph expected.
Isolated showers and thunderstorms can not be ruled out though both
days across portions of Deep East Texas and the southern and eastern
sections of Northcentral Louisiana, but rainfall amounts, if any, with
be light. A weak surface front will drift south into the region Friday,
and will focus scattered showers and thunderstorms over the region
especially as it is aided by the approach of an upper level disturbance
approaches from the northwest. This front should then become stationary
over the upcoming weekend, and focus scattered showers and thunderstorms
mainly over East Texas and North Louisiana this weekend. This should also
result in slightly cooler conditions as well, with additional scattered
showers and thunderstorms possible areawide early next week with the
approach of another upper level disturbance from the northwest.
