.DISCUSSION...
Hot and dry conditions will continue Monday through the upcoming work
week, with temperatures climbing well into the 80s and lower 90s each day.
Min RH`s will range from 35-45% Monday and Tuesday, with variable 20ft winds
around 5 mph Monday, before becoming more northeast around 10 mph Tuesday
as surface ridging begins to build southeast into the region. Upper ridging
aloft will also build southeast from the Southern Plains into the Lower
Mississippi Valley Tuesday and Wednesday, which will contribute to increasing
subsidence and above normal temperatures areawide. A potential tropical
disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico may drift north and result in an increase in
RH`s and the potential for isolated showers and thunderstorms by Friday
over portions of Deep East Texas and Central Louisiana, but unfortunately, no
wetting rains are expected through the foreseeable future.
