.DISCUSSION...
Showers and thunderstorms will increase in coverage from the
northwest early today, spreading east by southeast into the
afternoon and early evening. Severe weather is not expected, but
brief locally heavy rainfall and a few rumbles of thunder are
possible across all fire districts today. Minimum relative
humidity values will be in the 40 to 60 percent range, while
mixing heights climb to between 2000 ft northwest and 6000 ft
southeast. Winds will remain light and variable, with a vague
southwesterly orientation, and sustained speeds of less than
5 mph expected throughout and isolated gusts possible in the
vicinity of thunderstorms.
