.DISCUSSION...

Summer is about to take a longer vacation than we have seen so far
this fall. Along with that a severe weather threat on Saturday
with more heat and the most Gulf humidity of late. We could run
the gamete on wind damage, some hail and even isolated tornadic
activity in discrete supercells or the cold frontal squall line
that could potentially unfold if the late day push wins out.
For now, most short range models look a some clouds and light
rain showers early to keep heating from getting to out of check
again. However, a warm start and potential compressional heating
with SW winds ahead of the front could bring more 90s widespread
and a bumpier late day and early evening. At any rate, needed
rainfall of an inch plus will be much appreciated areawide.
