Priscilla will be pulled into the southwestern United States, bringing chances for showers and thunderstorms. Best chances for showers and thunderstorms is in the mountains and deserts, with lesser chances west of the mountains. Much of the precipitation west of the mountains will be spotty in coverage, with more widespread precipitation in the mountains and deserts. After this afternoon and evening, precipitation chances will decrease overnight, although intermittent rain is still possible across the area. Better chances for more widespread showers and thunderstorms for the mountains and deserts are expected Friday afternoon into Saturday morning. Rainfall rates west of the mountains will mainly be 0.05-0.25 inches per hour. For the mountains and deserts rainfall rates will be 0.40-0.75 inch per hour. There are small chances (5%) of rainfall rates locally exceeding 1 inch per hour. $$ CO
