...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM PST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...South winds increasing to 10 to 20 kts this afternoon,
  becoming west this evening with gusts up to 25 kts. Seas 5 to 8
  feet in the outer waters, 4 to 6 feet in the inner waters.

* WHERE...Coastal Waters from San Mateo Point to the Mexican
  Border and out to 10 nm and Waters from San Mateo Point to the
  Mexican Border Extending 10 to 60 nm out including San
  Clemente Island.

* WHEN...From 4 PM this afternoon to 2 AM PST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong elevated winds precede a front
  moving through the waters this afternoon and early evening,
  followed by westerly winds behind the front tonight.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.
