Areas of dense fog will prevail this morning. Visibility will be below 1 nm at times, locally 1/8 nm. Conditions will gradually improve after 9 AM. Mariners should be prepared for sudden drops in visibility. Reduce speeds and be on the lookout for other vessels. Use radar or GPS navigation if available, and consider remaining in harbor if such equipment is unavailable. $$
