.DISCUSSION...
Cooler conditions expected for the weekend with periods of stronger and
gusty west winds for the mountains and deserts for Saturday
afternoon and evening with the stronger gusts to 50 to 60 mph and
isolated gusts to 70 mph. There is also a chance for light showers
or drizzle from late tonight into early Sunday with the greatest
chances for Saturday evening. Chances for wetting precipitation
are less than 10 percent for tonight into Saturday morning, with
slightly higher chances for the San Diego coasts and valleys and
coastal slopes of the mountains Saturday night into Sunday
morning. Then dry and warmer for Monday. A brief period of
offshore northerly winds are expected for Monday, with daytime
relative humidity in the Inland Empire falling to 15 to 20
percent. A warming trend will continue through Thursday, with high
temperatures around 10 degrees above average by Thursday.
