.DISCUSSION...
A deeper marine layer around up to 4000 feet deep will continue
through the weekend, bringing patchy drizzle along and west of the
mountains each night and morning. Elevated wind gusts will occur
for the mountains and deserts through much of the next week. Winds
will continue to increase across this area winds increasing and
expanding into the deserts this evening and overnight where surface
winds have around a 25-40% chance of reaching 55 mph in east/west
favored passes.
Uncertainty remains in the exact forecast by the middle of next week.
Chances remain around 25-40% for areas along and west of the mountains
by next Wednesday and Thursday. Confidence is higher on areas impacted
but not on exact amounts. Thursday looks to be the day that has the
highest chance for precipitation. Humidity recoveries will very good
through the next week.
