.DISCUSSION...
Near average temperatures and drier weather is expected through
Monday. Relative humidities will lower during this time with single
digit readings possible across the mountains and 15 to 20 percent
readings across inland valleys west of the mountains. High pressure
will strengthen over the area by Tuesday into the end of the week,
leading to hotter conditions with not too much change in minimum
relative humidity. Poor overnight recoveries across the mountains
and desert slopes will be common over the next week. The marine
layer will become shallower into next week, with patchy fog each
night and morning near the coastal areas. Afternoon and evening
west/south winds will occur each day with gusts 15-35 MPH across
the high desert and the San Gorgonio Pass.
