.DISCUSSION...
Elevated fire weather conditions will continue this week with hot
weather for inland areas. Breezy west and southwest winds will
occur again this afternoon and evening with gusts near 20 to 30
mph for the desert slopes of the mountain into the deserts. A long
duration heat wave is expect for inland areas for Tuesday into
next week with the heat peaking around Friday and Saturday of this
week. The marine layer and onshore flow will maintain higher
humidity for coastal areas and moderate the heat near the coast.
