Rating: EF1 Estimated Peak Wind: 90 mph Path Length /statute/: 22.54 miles Path Width /maximum/: 200 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 03/14/2025 Start Time: 07:12 PM CDT Start Location: 3 W Lynchburg / Laclede County / MO Start Lat/Lon: 37.4991 / -92.3423 End Date: 03/14/2025 End Time: 07:36 PM CDT End Location: 7 E Fort Leonard Wood / Pulaski County / MO End Lat/Lon: 37.7065 / -92.0292 Survey Summary: NWS storm survey concluded that an EF1 tornado with peak winds around 90 mph started just west of Lynchburg and tracked northeast through southern Pulaski County. The tornado lifted near the Pulaski and Phelps County line with a 22.5 mile damage path and a peak width of 200 yards. The tornado damaged the roofs of multiple homes and heavily damaged multiple outbuildings. Hundreds of trees were also damaged with some uprooted. && EF Scale: The Enhanced Fujita Scale classifies tornadoes into the following categories: EF0.....65 to 85 mph EF1.....86 to 110 mph EF2.....111 to 135 mph EF3.....136 to 165 mph EF4.....166 to 200 mph EF5.....>200 mph NOTE: The information in this statement is preliminary and subject to change pending final review of the event and publication in NWS Storm Data. $$
