This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited non thunderstorm wind risk.
  Elevated fire weather risk.

DISCUSSION...

Southerly winds will increase again today, with gusts around 35
to 40 mph possible at times.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible at times
(20 to 60 percent) through Saturday. These will mainly pose a
lightning threat.

Chances for storms increase to 40 to 80 percent overnight
Saturday into Sunday with a Slight Risk for some storms to be
strong to severe. Large hail is the main hazard.

Redevelopment of storms will occur Sunday afternoon, mainly east
of Highway 65. These storms will have an Enhanced Risk for severe
weather with all hazards possible.

  Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
