This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited ice accumulation risk.
  Elevated snow and sleet risk.

DISCUSSION...

A light wintry mix will continue off and on until a band of snow
moves in from the west later this afternoon and evening. With
this earlier activity, a few slick spots may be observed on roads
(especially on bridges and overpasses). A glaze of ice, at most,
is possible.

Late this afternoon into the evening, a quick band of light to
moderate snow will move west to east. Snowfall amounts of a
dusting to an inch and a half are expected (greatest across
portions of central Missouri), possibly resulting in minor travel
impacts. This is especially true as we lose any solar warming
after sunset and temperatures drop.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
