Weather hazards expected... Limited lightning risk. Elevated excessive heat risk. Limited excessive rainfall risk DISCUSSION... Heat Advisory is in effect for the entire area through 8pm. Afternoon heat index values of 100 to 105 degrees. Scattered showers and storms this afternoon and evening, mainly along and east of Highway 65. Wind gusts up to 60mph and locally heavy rainfall may occur in the strongest storms. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. Afternoon heat index values in the upper 90s to around 100 may occur. There is a 30 to 50 percent chance for showers and thunderstorms Tuesday into Wednesday as a cold front moves through. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
