This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited lightning risk.

DISCUSSION...

There`s a 20 to 40 percent chance for isolated showers this
afternoon mainly for areas along/south of I-44. Some showers may
produce isolated instances of lightning. Rainfall amounts remain
light at less than a quarter to half an inch.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Higher chance for thunderstorms (50 to 70 percent) along and
north of Interstate 44 as a cold front moves through Wednesday
afternoon and into the late evening. Some of these storms may be
strong to severe as a Marginal Risk for severe weather has been
issued for that area. Main threat is hail up to one inch with a
secondary threat for damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph.

Another front moves through Friday bringing another round of rain
with 30 to 60 percent chances throughout the day.
