This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Marginal thunderstorm wind damage risk.
  Elevated lightning risk.
  Elevated excessive heat risk.
  Limited excessive rainfall risk

DISCUSSION...

Heat Advisory is in effect for the entire area through 8pm.
Afternoon heat index values of 100 to 105 degrees.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are ongoing along and east of
Highway 63. As these gain strength through the afternoon, any
storm will be capable of producing wind gusts up to 60 mph, along
with lightning and brief heavy downpours.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Some lingering showers and thunderstorms are possible along the
Missouri-Arkansas border Wednesday morning, bringing mainly a
lightning hazard.
