This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited excessive cold risk.
  Limited non thunderstorm wind risk.
  Elevated fire weather risk.

DISCUSSION...

Northwest wind gusts of 20 to 25 mph today with Wind Chills in
the low single digits to lower teens.

A very dry airmass will move over the region which will produce
relative humidity values in below 40 percent.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Excessive cold will continue through Tuesday before temperatures
moderate through mid to late week. Expect highs in the teens and
twenties and lows in the single digits, with daytime wind chills
in the single digits to teens and nightly wind chills of 8 to -8
degrees.
