...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING THROUGH SUNDAY
EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Kansas, including the following
  areas, Bourbon, Cherokee and Crawford and Missouri, including the
  following areas, Barry, Barton, Benton, Camden, Cedar, Christian,
  Dade, Dallas, Dent, Douglas, Greene, Hickory, Howell, Jasper,
  Laclede, Lawrence, Maries, McDonald, Miller, Morgan, Newton,
  Oregon, Ozark, Phelps, Polk, Pulaski, Shannon, St. Clair, Stone,
  Taney, Texas, Vernon, Webster and Wright.

* WHEN...From this evening through Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Low-water crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms are likely this
    evening through Sunday. Total rainfall amounts of 2-5 inches
    are likely across most of the area with localized amounts to
    7 inches. Highest rainfall amounts are expected northwest of
    a line from Branson to Rolla.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
