Mount Rainier Recreational Forecast

.SYNOPSIS...A frontal system will move across the region today,
bringing showers to Mount Rainier National Park. Isolated
thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and evening and
snow levels will fall below the summit. Cooler and cloudier
conditions will linger into Thursday, with showers tapering
throughout the day. Warmer and drier conditions will commence at
the park on Friday and persist into early next week as ridging
builds back into the region.

.WEDNESDAY...Rain and snow in the morning, then showers, a slight
chance of thunderstorms and showers in the afternoon. No snow
accumulation near Paradise. Snow level near 11000 feet.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of
thunderstorms and showers in the evening, then mostly cloudy with
a chance of showers after midnight. No snow accumulation near
Paradise. Snow level near 9500 feet decreasing to 7500 feet after
midnight.
.THURSDAY...Mostly sunny. A chance of showers in the morning.
Snow level near 7000 feet.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Partly cloudy. Freezing level near 12000 feet.
