.SYNOPSIS...An upper level trough will continue to push into the
region today, bringing in precipitation and breezy winds near the
summit. Light snow showers are favored to linger through the
weekend ahead of dry conditions through much of next week as high
pressure rebuilds.

.IMPACTS...Strong winds in alpine regions on the mountain,
including the Muir snowfield, will make it difficult to move
safely and could produce local whiteout conditions. A high level
of skill and experience in alpine terrain, including use of GPS,
is recommended for navigation and camping in these conditions.

.FRIDAY...Windy. Partly sunny in the morning. A slight chance of
rain and snow in the morning, then rain and snow late in the
morning. A chance of rain and snow in the afternoon. Areas of
freezing fog in the late morning and early afternoon. Areas of
fog in the afternoon. Snow may be heavy at times late in the
morning. Snow may be heavy at times late in the afternoon. Snow
accumulation near Paradise of 3 to 7 inches. Snow level near
5500 feet decreasing to 4000 feet in the afternoon.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Breezy. Areas of dense fog in the evening. Mostly
cloudy with a chance of rain and snow in the evening, then mostly
cloudy with a slight chance of rain and snow after midnight. Snow
level near 3000 feet.
.SATURDAY...Breezy. Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain and snow.
Snow level near 2500 feet.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of rain and snow
after midnight. Snow level near 2500 feet.
.SUNDAY...Mostly sunny. Freezing level near 3000 feet.
