.DISCUSSION...High pressure over the region today will bring dry
conditions and seasonal temperatures to western Washington. A weak
frontal system will move into the area Thursday night into Friday,
bringing chances of light showers to the region. A stronger system
will move in over the weekend, bringing moderate to heavy rain,
locally gusty winds, and mountain snow. Active and wetter conditions
are favored to continue into next week.

 Forecast for 20 foot wind speed (valleys and ridge tops) are 10
 minute averages reflecting RAWS winds.
