A few weather systems will move across western Washington over the weekend, bringing additional precipitation to the Olympic Peninsula at times. Heaviest amounts are forecast over the southwestern slopes of the Olympic Mountains, where an additional 1 to 4 inches of rainfall is possible. This will result in the potential for the Skokomish River to rise above flood stage over the weekend. Snow levels between 3500 to 4500 feet Saturday will rise to 5000-5500 feet by Saturday night, before dropping back down to 4000-4500 feet Sunday.
