Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will wash out into the west Atlantic
through the end of the week while a low pressure system moves
from the northern Plains into west Ontario. This will strengthen
the pressure gradient over the Great Lakes, increasing wind
speeds through the afternoon and evening. Low pressure, 29.20
inches, will then rapidly develop and move over Michigan Sunday,
bringing increasing potential to see gales for a greater portion
of the region.

becoming mostly cloudy. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.SATURDAY...South winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to 10 to 15 knots
early in the afternoon. Partly sunny. A chance of light showers
early in the afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...South winds 15 to 20 knots increasing to 20 to 25
knots in the late evening and overnight. Showers and a chance of
thunderstorms until early morning...then showers after midnight.
Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 2 to 4 feet in the late evening and
overnight.
.SUNDAY...South winds 20 to 25 knots becoming southwest 15 to 20
knots in the afternoon...then becoming northwest 20 to 25 knots with
gusts to 30 knots in the evening. Showers. Waves 2 to 4 feet. A
Small Craft Advisory may be needed.
.MONDAY...South winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 30 knots. Mostly
clear. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
.TUESDAY...West winds to 30 knots. Partly cloudy. A chance of light
showers. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
