Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...High pressure will wash out into the west Atlantic through the end of the week while a low pressure system moves from the northern Plains into west Ontario. This will strengthen the pressure gradient over the Great Lakes, increasing wind speeds through the afternoon and evening. Low pressure, 29.20 inches, will then rapidly develop and move over Michigan Sunday, bringing increasing potential to see gales for a greater portion of the region.
