575 AGUS76 KRSA 301741 HMDRSA Hydrometeorological Discussion National Weather Service / California Nevada RFC / Sacramento CA 940 AM PST Sun Nov 30 2025 ...EXPECT LIGHT PRECIP TO WIND DOWN OVER NE NV TODAY WITH ANOTHER ROUND OF LIGHT PRECIP OVER MAINLY NV EXPECTED TUE... ...LIGHT PRECIP POSSIBLE MAINLY SRN CA COAST WED-THU AND AGAIN FOR NW CA/SRN OR/FAR NRN NV BY FRI NIGHT... .METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS (SUN AM - FRI NIGHT)... Showers are beginning to wind down over NE NV as a mid-level vort max and a frontal boundary work their way across the region. A weak wave on Tue followed by a stronger wave/front later Tue into Wed are expected to bring light precipitation to mainly NV. Freezing levels with both systems are expected to range from around 5000-8000 ft. Still seeing model uncertainty regarding the amount of potential precip coverage in southern CA Wed-Thu, but overall model consensus is improving regarding a more inland track of the upper trough and only light precipitation in southern CA if any. Models indicate another system could bring light precip to the far north by the end of the forecast period Fri night, with freezing levels starting around 7000-9000 ft.
