* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 and
  7 inches.

* WHERE...Mercer, Summers, and Western Greenbrier Counties.

* WHEN...From 1 PM this afternoon to 7 PM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
  could impact the Friday evening commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for

  6 inches.

* WHERE...Portions of north central and northwest North Carolina and
  central, south central, southwest, and west central Virginia.

* WHEN...From 1 PM this afternoon to 7 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
  conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday
  evening commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
