northwest North Carolina, central Virginia, south central Virginia,
southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West
Virginia.

Tropical storm Chantal will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms
to the area this afternoon and into tonight. Some storms will contain
heavy rain, but flooding is not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather.
