* Until 1030 PM EDT.

* At 953 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 12 miles east of Lake Vesuvius to near Proctorville
  to near Ceredo, moving east at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

  Huntington, Hamlin, Chesapeake, Proctorville, Beech Fork State
  Park, Hurricane, Barboursville, Kenova, Milton, Eleanor, Ceredo,
  Ona, Culloden, Teays Valley, South Point, Burlington, Aid, West
  Hamlin, Crown City, and Athalia.

This includes Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 1
and 38.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Lightning
is one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
