At 431 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Greenbo Lake, or 11 miles west of Ironton, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Ironton, Coal Grove, Lake Vesuvius, Greenup, Load, Greenbo Lake, Franklin Furnace, Flatwoods, Russell, Vernon, Raceland, Worthington, Wurtland, Bellefonte, Aid, Hanging Rock, Warnock, Grays Branch, and Pedro.
