...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL GREENUP AND CENTRAL
LAWRENCE COUNTIES THROUGH 500 PM EDT...

At 431 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Greenbo Lake, or 11 miles west of Ironton, moving northeast at 35
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ironton, Coal Grove, Lake Vesuvius, Greenup, Load, Greenbo Lake,
Franklin Furnace, Flatwoods, Russell, Vernon, Raceland, Worthington,
Wurtland, Bellefonte, Aid, Hanging Rock, Warnock, Grays Branch, and
Pedro.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Charleston West Virginia.
