...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN RALEIGH AND
SOUTHEASTERN FAYETTE COUNTIES THROUGH 1015 PM EST...

At 946 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Bingham to Coal City. Movement was east at
55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Coal City, Shady Spring, Meadow Bridge, Babcock State Park, Ghent,
Beaver, Daniels, Josephine, Stanaford, Macarthur, Rainelle, Beckley,
Crab Orchard, and Piney View.

This includes the following highways...
 West Virginia Turnpike between mile markers 28 and 40.
 Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 120 and 137.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to travel across
flooded roads. Find alternate routes. It takes only a few inches of
swiftly flowing water to carry vehicles away.
