...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CENTRAL LOGAN AND SOUTH CENTRAL
BOONE COUNTIES THROUGH 345 PM EDT...

At 251 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Logan to near Mount Gay-Shamrock. Movement
was east at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Logan, Mount Gay-Shamrock, Wharton, Chief Logan State Park, Holden,
West Logan, Mitchell Heights, Mount Gay, Verdunville, Blair,
Sharples, and Switzer.

This includes Route 119 between mile markers 26 and 35.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
