709 AM EDT Wed Mar 12 2025

Forecast is based on ignition time of 0800 EDT on March 12.

Service.

.DISCUSSION...
A dry front reverses course and exits north today with mild,
dry and breezy conditions expected. Afternoon RH values will generally
bottom out in the mid 20s. Winds generally southwest at 10-15 mph
with gusts 15 to 25 mph.

Mild and generally dry conditions continue for the remainder of the
work week.

A weak disturbance passing south of the area may bring showers
Thursday, but there is a much better chance for showers, along with
gusty winds and the chance for thunderstorms, this upcoming weekend,
as a strong low pressure system tracks up through the Great Lakes.
Strong, heavy thunderstorms are possible Saturday afternoon and
evening, and a widespread soaking rain could develop Saturday night.
