032 FNUS71 KRLX 181120 FWSRLX Spot Forecast for Pine Creek RX Unit I & J...Wayne National Forest National Weather Service Charleston WV 720 AM EDT Fri Apr 18 2025 Forecast is based on ignition time of 0800 EDT on April 18. If conditions become unrepresentative, contact the National Weather Service. .DISCUSSION... Temperatures rise above normal amid drier but breezy conditions today. Winds will gradually increase by mid morning, becoming gusty this afternoon up to 26 mph. Warmer temperatures and good mixing by increasing winds may drop relative humidity into the mid 20s, and event in the upper teens by 4 PM this afternoon. A system moves into the region on Saturday with showers and thunderstorms clipping portions of southeast Ohio and West Virginia. Chances of rain and thunderstorms will be possible for Sunday, although not as prominent as expected on Saturday, as a frontal passage takes place into Monday. Another system quickly moves into the region later on Monday with a frontal passage on Tuesday morning. This system will keep rain and thunderstorm chances on the table for the area, however high pressure will then build in and likely give us a break through midweek. .REST OF TODAY...
