If conditions become unrepresentative, contact the National Weather Service. .DISCUSSION... Breezy southwesterly winds will continue to subside this evening across the area. Winds become light tonight and on Thursday, shifting northerly with cold frontal passage on Thursday. Precipitation associated with this front will remain generally light, with best chances for a wetting rain expected across southeast Ohio and the Mid Ohio Valley region, with less of a chance for a wetting rain expected across the southern coal fields and southwest Virginia. The chance for a wetting rain across the southern coal fields and southwest Virginia is around 30 percent on average. Drier conditions take hold for Friday and Saturday, along with light winds. Rain looks to return to the area towards the end of the week and into the new work week. .THURSDAY... Sky/weather.........Mostly cloudy (70-80 percent). Chance of rain showers in the morning and early afternoon, then slight chance of rain showers early in the afternoon.
