.DISCUSSION...
A shortwave crossing the area tonight will provide additional snow
to the area. The greatest accumulations will be across the
mountains, but light accumulations will be possible elsewhere.
In addition, gusty winds at times, combined with cold temperatures,
will yield wind chills in the single digits to below zero at times,
and a cold weather advisory has been issued for parts of the
mountains, as well as the Huntington tri state region.
A short break is anticipated for later Thursday into Friday with
high pressure cruising past, but another system will then bring more
impactful snow to the area Friday afternoon into Saturday.
