.DISCUSSION...
A cold front pushes through the area today, resulting in a cool,
rainy day across the lowlands and northern mountains, but still mild
with showers and thunderstorms in and near the central and southern
mountains.
The rain ends from northwest to southeast tonight into Monday, as
the system finally moves away. A secondary cold front may bring rain
showers late Monday, maybe even ending as snow showers Monday night.
This will be followed by dry but chilly weather for midweek, with
lows in the 20s for most of not all of the area Tuesday and
Wednesday mornings.
The next system, due late next week, does not appear to present a
heavy rain threat.
