.DISCUSSION...
Dry weather rules the roost through the balance of the week amid the
influence of surface high pressure. Near to slightly below normal
temperatures and mainly clear, calm nights will allow the potential
for frost late tonight and especially Thursday night in the normally
colder, better sheltered valleys. Thursday will feature more
sunshine than the past couple of days.
Friday will feature sunshine at least to start, along with near
normal high temperatures for mid October, and Saturday will feature
sunshine and a much warmer afternoon.
The next cold front crosses Sunday with rain and wind. In its wake,
the new work week will start cool, and a bit unsettled as a second
cold front crosses.
