  Muskingum River At Beverly affecting Morgan and Washington
  Counties.

For the Muskingum River...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Report flooding to the National Weather Service by calling toll
free, 800 401 9535, when you can do so safely.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY TOMORROW AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Muskingum River at Beverly.

* WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Bankfull stage; Low areas right next to
  the river are inundated but nothing is affected.
  At 29.0 feet, Low areas, and farmland, camps, and a few homes are
  flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:45 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 29.1 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:45 AM EDT Sunday was 29.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise to 30.0 feet this evening. It
    will then fall below flood stage tomorrow morning to 28.8
    feet early tomorrow afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 29.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    30.1 feet on 01/28/2024.
