...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Kentucky...

  Little Sandy River At Grayson affecting Carter and Greenup
  Counties.

For the Little Sandy River...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Report flooding to the National Weather Service by calling toll
free, 800 401 9535, when you can do so safely.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Little Sandy River at Grayson.

* WHEN...Until late tonight.

* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, the buildings next to river gage. Also,
  water starts to flow onto Route 773 and in the Dixie Park area
  just past I-64 bridge. State Route 1910 floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 AM EDT Friday the stage was 20.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late this
    morning to 22.3 feet this evening. It will then fall below
    flood stage late this evening to 12.3 feet early Sunday
    morning. It will rise to 20.1 feet Sunday evening. It will
    then fall again and remain below flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    22.3 feet on 01/26/1978.
