...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN BIG HORN COUNTY THROUGH
MIDNIGHT MDT...

At 1140 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles northeast of Bighorn Lake, which is 17 miles northeast of
Lovell, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail
         damage to vegetation is possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northern Big Horn
County, including the following locations... Bighorn Canyon National
Recreation Area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Riverton.
