Weather conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread in wildland fuels, including grasses and shrubs. WHERE: Lower elevations of Fremont, Hot Springs, Natrona, Park, Sublette, and Sweetwater counties. WHEN: Noon through 8 PM MDT this evening. RELATIVE HUMIDITY: 8 to 13 percent. WIND: West 12 to 18 mph with gusts to around 25 mph. Stronger wind gusts of 40 to 60 mph are expected near any showers or thunderstorms. TEMPERATURE: Low to mid 90s west of the Continental Divide and upper 90s to low 100s east of the Divide. This is around 10 degrees above normal. IMPACT: Fire and emergency officials should be aware that weather conditions will be favorable for the development of significant wind-driven grass and shrub fires. $$
