A weather system passed through the region on Wednesday, which brought very strong to High Wind to portions of Wyoming. This weather system also brought abnormally warm air to most of the area, excluding The Bighorn Basin and Johnson County where cold air remained entrenched behind a stationary front. A strong jet streak coupled with the impressive temperature gradient along the front resulted in the wind gusts shown below. These are 24 hour maximum wind gusts ending at 8 PM Wednesday 2/5/25.
