.DISCUSSION...

Behind a cold front overnight Wednesday into Thursday morning,
cloudy skies and ample rain/snow showers for much of the day and
into Friday as well. With temperatures in the mid to upper 30s
Thursday afternoon, expect precipitation in the form of rain
before changing over to snow as temperatures cool towards sunset
Thursday evening. This will be the timeframe for the heaviest
rain/snowfall but lingers overnight into Friday as well. This will
not taper off until early to mid afternoon Friday with cloudy
skies remaining. Snowfall totals will most likely be between 4 to
7 inches, but there is a 20-30 percent probability of totals
reaching 8 to 12 inches.

Winds will be quite gusty behind the cold front with frequent
gusts up to 30 to 40 mph through sunset Thursday before
diminishingsome overnight into Friday with gusts up to 20 to 25
mph expected. With the colder temperatures and precipitation,
relative humidity values will remain above around the 70 percent
mark. Improved skies and dry conditions Friday night into Saturday
morning with less wind. Another round of precipitation, likely
only in the form of rain for Sunday and into early next week.
