.DISCUSSION...
A mostly clear sky today, with some clouds in the morning decreasing
for the afternoon. Light west winds start the morning, turning
north/northwest after 1000. Wind speeds should remain around 8 mph
through the afternoon, though periods 10 to 12 mph may occur. Winds
shift back to the west after 1900. Relative humidities are drier
than yesterday, with afternoon lows in the low 30 percents.
Stable conditions today after a cold front passed through yesterday.
As a result, poor smoke dispersal is expected overall, with the
relatively best period occurring from roughly noon to 1600. Mixing
heights will peak around 4500 feet AGL in that same period.
A similar story for Sunday, though afternoon north to northwest
winds will be a little stronger, so smoke dispersal will be a bit
better and mixing heights a little higher.
