Seasonable temperatures across the dispatch area. Showers and
thunderstorms will be widespread today with much of the area having
a 20-40% chance of wetting rains. Winds continue to be mainly light
from the west/southwest. However, storms will be capable of
producing strong gusty outflow winds of 40 to 50 mph throughout the
afternoon and evening. Another concern will be frequent lightning
strikes associated with any storms that develop. Precipitation will
linger into the overnight hours with another round of showers and
thunderstorms expected for Friday.
