Increasing chances for rain showers and thunderstorms, becoming
likely (50-80%) after 1200. Locally heavy rain and possible
localized flash flooding are the main threats. Small hail also
cannot be ruled out. Snow levels will drop from 11000 ft to 6000
ft between 1800 and 0000 as a cold front progresses eastward. Wind
gusts of 35 to 50 mph will also occur behind the front tonight.

Showers will be possible over mainly zone 289 after 0900, with a
30% chance elsewhere across the dispatch area today. Locally heavy
rain will be possible with any persistent shower. Heavier showers
and thunderstorms with a greater threat for locally heavy rain
will occur over zone 286 after 1200, gradually moving into zone
276 after 1500. Additional showers and storms will move across the
area after sunset as a cold front moves eastward. Wind gusts of
35 to 50 mph will also occur behind the front tonight.
